VA Index — The Virtual Assistant Index
Independent · sourced · dated

Every “best VA company” list is written by a VA company.

This one is not. VA Index records what each provider publishes — the rate, the minimum contract, where the staff are, and exactly who signs the Business Associate Agreement — together with the sentence it came from and the date we read it. If we cannot quote it, we do not publish it.

Healthcare & medical VAs

Filter by who signs the BAA, HIPAA training claims, staffing location and lock-in — the things you have to check before patient data moves.

E-commerce VAs

Shopify, Amazon and Walmart support, plus the helpdesk and email tools each team already knows.

What they cost

Every published rate in one table, cheapest first — plus the 25 companies that publish nothing at all.

What we have found so far

25 of 43 publish no price

Not a gap in our data — a fact about how this industry sells. We list the pages we checked on every one of them.

“HIPAA compliant” is not a BAA

Of the 19 providers that mention a Business Associate Agreement, 13 describe one your practice is not a party to.

Silence is recorded, not hidden

Where a company states nothing, we show “Not disclosed” and the exact pages we read. Blank cells are findings.

How this works

Every number is sourced Each figure carries the sentence it came from, the URL, and the date. A quote that cannot be matched against our archived copy of the page is discarded, not published.
Nothing is inferred “No long-term contract” is not the same as “no minimum term”, and we will not record the second from the first. The gates that enforce this are mechanical, not editorial.
Compliance is quoted, never certified We report what a company states about HIPAA and BAAs. We are not an auditor and never present a claim as a finding.
Money cannot buy a position Listing is free and we add companies ourselves. Payment will only ever buy speed and the right to give us more source material — never rank, never wording, never removal of unflattering data. The rules.
